As animal Control Officers, we need to assist our community members with proactive and positive education that helps not only modify behavior and understanding of animal ownership. in doing this, is will communities to keep animals in homes and out of the shelter. WEBINAR ON HOW ANIMAL CONTROL CAN BE PROACTIVE WITH THE COMMUNITY


A proponent of proactive community animal control, Officer Todd Stosuy regularly presents and teaches workshops to the field, sharing strategies of community-oriented policing within animal control departments. Stosuy has been with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter since 2003, and served as president of the National Animal Care and Control Association from 2011-2015. He is passionate about building relationships that foster trust in animal control agencies and providing pet owners in the community with information and resources.
